# A Real Person vs An AI Employee

Understand the difference between creating a Double for a real person and creating an AI Employee for a role, team, or business workflow.

### **There are two types of Doubles:**

**A Real Person**

Create an AI version of yourself or someone on your team. Built around a real identity, voice, and expertise.

Best for: founders, creators, consultants, sales reps, or anyone who wants a personal AI presence that sounds and feels like them.

**An AI Employee**

Create a fictional AI teammate for your business. No real person behind it — just a purpose-built agent.

Best for: sales bots, support agents, recruiting assistants, or any business function that doesn't need to represent a specific person. **Which one should I choose?**

| | A Real Person | An AI Employee |
| :------- | :--------------------------------------------- | :---------------------------------------- |
| Based on | Real identity, voice, expertise | Fictional persona |
| Best for | Personal brand, thought leadership, networking | Business functions, customer-facing roles |
| Examples | I'm John, Head of Sales | Meet Aria, our support assistant |

Not sure? If there's a real person behind the Double — choose A Real Person. If it's a role or function with no specific individual behind it — choose An AI Employee.
