# Creating a Presentation

**Step 1: Upload your deck**

1. Go to Actions → Presentations
2. Click + Add Presentation
3. Click "Upload Deck"
4. Select your PowerPoint, Google Slides export, or PDF
5. Your Double automatically detects slides
6. Click Continue

**What to know**

* Supports .pptx, .pdf, .odp formats
* Google Slides → Download as PowerPoint (.pptx)
* Each slide becomes one presentation screen
* Deck uploads are stored securely
* You can re-upload to replace a deck anytime

**Step 2: Link a Double**

1. Select which Double will present this deck
2. This Double's voice, personality, and knowledge will be used
3. You can link the same deck to multiple Doubles
4. Linked Double appears in presentation details

**What to know**

* Linked Double's knowledge doesn't affect presentations
* You can change the linked Double anytime

**Step 3: Set up engagement (Presentation setup tab)**

1. Write AI Instruction — Tell your Double *when* and *how* to offer this presentation
   * Example: "When the visitor asks to see a product demo, offer this presentation"
   * Include triggers and context (10-50 words)
2. Review the instruction
3. Click Continue

**What to know**

* Instructions guide when your Double *offers* the presentation
* Visitors still need to accept to begin
* You can edit instructions anytime

**Step 4: Customize engagement (Engagement tab)**

1. Add opening message — What your Double says when presentation starts
   * Example: "Here's a walkthrough of our platform. I'll guide you slide by slide"
2. Add slide introductions (optional) — What your Double says before each slide
   * Helps explain transitions and context
3. Add closing message — What your Double says when presentation ends
   * Example: "That covers our main features. Questions?"
4. Click Save

**What to know**

* Opening/closing messages are required
* Slide introductions are optional but recommended
* Messages can reference the slide topic
* Keep messages under 100 words each
