Setting Up Your First AI Double

Get your AI Double ready in four simple steps. This guide walks through the essentials to make your AI Double functional and ready to engage.

Step 1: Add Knowledge

Give your AI Double information to work with.

  1. Go to Knowledge Base (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
  2. Upload at least one source:
    • PDF - Portfolio, resume, or service document
    • Website - Your site or blog URL
    • Custom text - Write key details directly
    • Social media - Connect LinkedIn, X/Twitter, or YouTube

Start with one or two sources. You can always add more later.

Step 2: Choose Personality

Set how your AI Double communicates.

  1. Go to Personality (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
  2. Select a preset that matches your style:
    • Default - Balanced for most situations
    • Friendly - Warm and approachable
    • Professional - Formal and corporate
    • Warm - Empathetic for coaching
    • Quirky - Creative and playful

Presets adjust all settings automatically. Fine-tune later if needed.

Step 3: Set Up Voice (Optional)

Clone your voice for voice conversations.

  1. Go to Voice (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
  2. Either:
    • Upload a 30-second audio sample
    • Record directly into your microphone
    • Select a preset voice

Voice cloning is optional but recommended for the full AI Double experience.

Step 4: Customize Appearance

Match your AI Double to your brand.

  1. Go to Customize in the sidebar
  2. Choose an accent color
  3. Upload your photo or logo as avatar
  4. Preview and save

Your customizations appear on your profile and embedded chatbots.

Test your AI Double

After setup:

  1. Go to your profile
  2. Type and chat or voice call
  3. Ask questions to test responses
  4. Adjust Knowledge, Personality, or Behaviour as needed

What's next?

  • Embed on your website - Add your AI Double to your site
  • Set up lead gating - Capture visitor information
  • Add custom instructions - Guide conversation behavior
  • Share your profile - Send your Double profile link
