How to use the Books Widget?

The Books Widget displays a curated list of books on your profile. It's the perfect way to share favorite reads, professional recommendations, or your own publications in a clean, scrollable format.

How to add and customize the Books Widget

1. In your profile builder, click Add Card → Books Widget (found in Professional section)
2. Add a widget to the grid and click Configure
3. Add Title and optional Description
4. Search for books by title using Google Books search
5. Click Add next to the correct book
6. Drag to reorder books or click the remove icon to delete
7. Click Update Card to save

Example use cases

• Showcase a personal reading list of your favorite titles
• Recommend professional or industry-related books to your audience
• Highlight publications you have authored
• Curate seasonal or themed book lists, such as "Top 5 Business Books"

Key details

• Powered by Google Books: The widget fetches book titles, covers, and details from the Google Books database
• Scrolling Behavior: The widget automatically scrolls to show all your books
  • On desktop: The list scrolls when a visitor hovers their mouse over it
  • On mobile: The list becomes a swipeable carousel
• Unlimited Titles: You can add as many books as you like, but shorter, focused lists are often more effective for visitors

If a book isn't found, it may not be listed in the Google Books database. Authors can add their work by submitting it directly to Google Booking jdonfofidoif
