Controlling Topics with Topic Flexibility

Topic Flexibility controls how the AI Double handles off-topic questions - whether it stays strictly focused on expertise or briefly answers before redirecting.

How to adjust

Go to Behaviour (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
Scroll to Topic Flexibility
Drag the slider between Stay on Topic and Flexible
Changes apply immediately

Understanding the slider

The slider controls how the AI responds to questions outside the main expertise. Move it towards the left for strict focus, or right for more conversational flexibility.

Stay on Topic

The AI redirects off-topic questions immediately and keeps conversations focused on expertise.

Example: "That's a bit outside my focus, but I'd be happy to help with [main topic]."

Flexible

The AI briefly answers off-topic questions, then steers back to relevant topics. More conversational and accommodating.

Example: "Interesting question! Here's a quick thought on that. Now, speaking of [expertise]..."

When to adjust

Left (Stay on Topic): Sales, lead qualification, tight control
Right (Flexible): General engagement, building rapport

Start in the middle and adjust based on conversation quality.
