Using Context Instructions
Provide background details about work, expertise, and focus areas so the AI Double has full context on who someone is and what they do.
How to add Context Instructions
- Open Knowledge Base (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
- Click Context Instructions at the bottom of the Data Sources section
- Type context in the text field (up to 1,500 characters)
- Click Save Instructions
Context Instructions apply across all knowledge sources.
What to know
- 1,500 character limit - Keep it focused and clear
- Applies to all sources - Works alongside PDFs, websites, and social content
- Can be updated anytime - Update context as needed
Best practices
Use Context Instructions to add:
- Specialization or niche focus
- Industry or market
- Key background not in other sources
- Important context about approach
- Details that help qualify conversations
Example: "I'm a corporate lawyer specializing in intellectual property. Focus on legal precedents and case law when providing context."
Managing Context Instructions
To edit, click Context Instructions again and update the text. Changes save automatically when clicking Save Instructions.
