Handling Uncertainty

Control how the AI Double responds when it doesn't know the answer to a question. This helps prevent the AI from making up information.

How to adjust

1. Go to Personality (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
2. Scroll to When Double doesn't know something
3. Keep Honest Admission selected or write a custom response
4. Click Save to apply changes

What to know

• Honest Admission - Default response when the AI doesn't know something (enabled by default)
• Custom response - Write a message in a preferred style

Default message: "That's outside my expertise, but I'd be happy to help with related topics"

Why this matters

When the AI doesn't have information:

• With this setting: Acknowledges gaps honestly and maintains trust
• Without this setting: May guess or provide inaccurate information

Best practices

• Keep this setting enabled to prevent hallucinations
• Customize the message to match brand voice
• The AI will redirect to topics it can help with
