Cloning Your Voice
Clone a real voice so the AI Double sounds like the user. A short, clean audio sample is all that is needed.
How to clone your voice
- Go to Voice (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
- Click Add New Clone
- Enter a name for the clone (e.g. "My Voice")
- Add an optional description
- Choose to Upload a file or Record directly into the microphone
- Submit to create the clone
The cloned voice appears in the Voice section and is used automatically for voice conversations.
Recording tips
- Record in a quiet, noise-free environment
- Use a good-quality microphone or headset
- On mobile: use Voice Memo (iOS) or Dolby On (Android) for better noise cancellation
- Read the sample phrase shown on screen - it is designed to capture the full range of sounds and emotion
What to know
- Minimum 15 seconds, maximum 30 seconds - Longer samples do not improve quality beyond 30 seconds
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Quality of clone matches quality of recording - A clear, close-mic recording gives the best result
- One active clone at a time - Create a new clone to replace the existing one
