Adding Custom Text

Add custom text information directly to the Knowledge Base when it doesn't exist in files or websites. Custom text is perfect for FAQs, personal opinions, or any details the AI Double should know.

How to add custom text

  1. Open Knowledge Base (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
  2. Click Text in the Data Sources section
  3. Paste or type content in the text field
  4. Click Add to knowledge base

Text appears in the Text section on the same page.

What to know

  • Treated as knowledge, not instructions - This adds facts, not behavioral rules
  • Clear structure works best - Use simple paragraphs and headings
  • Can be edited anytime - Update or replace text whenever needed

Best practices

Add custom text for:

  • FAQs answered frequently
  • Approach or methodology
  • Personal opinions or perspectives
  • Product details or pricing
  • Information not in other sources

Keep text clear and organized. Break up long content with line breaks or bullet points.

Managing text

To edit custom text, click the edit icon in the Text section. To delete it, click the trash icon.
