Setting Up Lead Gating

Turn on Lead Gating to start capturing visitor information automatically during chat and voice conversations.

How to enable Lead Gating

1. Go to Lead Gating (find it in the sidebar under Double AI Twin)
2. Toggle Lead Gating on
3. Set the chat message threshold - the gate appears after this many messages from the visitor
4. Set the voice time threshold - the gate appears after this many seconds in a voice call
5. Choose capture method: OAuth (Google/LinkedIn) or Custom Form
6. Save changes

What to know

• Chat threshold counts only visitor messages, not AI Double replies
• Voice threshold is counted in seconds of conversation time
• A countdown timer is shown to the visitor so they know the gate is coming
• Gating only applies to unrecognized browsers - known visitors from the same browser pass through automatically
